FIA Homologation Documents

Below are links to the FIA official homologation documents for the various generations & derivatives of the Taunus family. These would have allowed for entry into FIA sanctioned global or local events, stating the Group (class) & any allowable modifications. Not all versions were officially Homologated with the FIA in period, as it usually required the co-operation of the manufacturer, especially as the cars became more highly developed & much of Fords Motorsport focus of Homologation Specials in limited numbers was later on the Capri & Escort. Individual Countries could still Homologate cars for local regulations, hence the P7b's raced under South African Saloon car regulations.
